DISPERANJEKA 6110
OverviewUsed as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings and printing inks, stabilizing inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide. Can significantly reduce the viscosity of the abrasive.
product information
Chemical composition: copolymer solution containing acidic groups
The data given on this data page are only typical values, not technical indicators of the product.
Acid value: 55—63mgKOH/g
Density: 1.02g/L (25℃)
Viscosity: 20-50cps (25℃)
Non-volatile matter (20min, 150℃): 50%
Solvent: triethylene glycol butyl ether/xylene (1:3)
Storage and transportation
Please stir well before use. When the temperature is lower than 0℃, stratification or muddy oil may occur. Heat to 30℃-40℃ and stir evenly.
pay attention
Due to the high acid value of the product, it may catalyze the cross-linking of the baking paint system. The viscosity increase during storage of the coating system should be checked.
Application information
Coating industry and printing inks
Features and advantages
The additive de-flocculates and maintains stability of the pigment through steric hindrance. Because the deflocculated pigment particles are very small, the multi-pigment system will not produce floating color and blooming. This can increase the gloss, color strength, transparency and coverage of the coating
force. The additive can reduce viscosity, thereby improving fluidity and increasing the amount of pigment added. When used for electrostatic high-speed spin coating of inorganic pigments, it can significantly reduce haze.
Application field
It is recommended to use this additive in solvent-based and solvent-free coatings and printing inks to stabilize inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide. Because of its anionic nature, this additive is an ideal choice for acid-catalyzed systems (such as coil coatings).
Recommended dosage
The amount of additives (purchased form) based on the pigment:
Titanium dioxide: 2%-4%
Inorganic pigments: 5%-10%
The above data are empirical dosages, and the best dosages need to be determined through a series of experiments.
Joining method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, the additives should be added to the abrasive first, and then the pigments.
